Privacy & Cookies

This notice explains how personal information is handled when you visit the Radlett Pilates website or contact Suzanne about Pilates tuition.

Who is responsible for your information?

Radlett Pilates is responsible for personal information handled through this website and in connection with enquiries about Pilates tuition. If you have a question about privacy, please email suzanne@radlettpilates.co.uk.

What information may be collected?

This website does not have an online registration, booking or contact form. If you choose to contact Suzanne by email, the information received may include your name, email address and anything else you choose to include in your message.

If you become a client, you may also provide information needed to arrange and provide Pilates tuition. This can include information about your goals and, where relevant, health, injury or mobility information that you choose to disclose so that tuition can be planned appropriately.

How is your information used?

Personal information is used only where reasonably necessary to respond to enquiries, arrange tuition, communicate with clients and provide personalised Pilates sessions. It is not sold to third parties and is not used for unrelated advertising.

Ordinary enquiry and client information is generally processed because it is necessary to respond to your request, to take steps before providing tuition, or because there is a legitimate interest in managing the Pilates practice and communicating with clients.

Health information

Health information is treated with particular care. You should only provide information that is relevant to your Pilates tuition. Where health information is provided for the purpose of tailoring tuition safely, it will be used only for that purpose and handled confidentially.

Who may receive your information?

Information may be processed by service providers that are necessary to operate normal communications and the website, such as the website hosting provider and email provider. Personal information is not shared with other organisations for their own marketing purposes.

How long is information kept?

Information is kept only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was provided, including managing enquiries or an ongoing client relationship, and for any period required for legitimate administrative, legal or record-keeping purposes. Information that is no longer needed should be securely deleted.

Cookies and website tracking

The Radlett Pilates website does not currently use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or tracking technologies. It does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or similar visitor-tracking services, and the website itself does not set cookies.

Because the site does not currently use non-essential cookies or tracking technologies, there is no cookie consent banner. If this changes in future, this notice and the website's consent arrangements will be updated as appropriate.

Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights over your personal information, including rights to ask for access to it, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask for information to be deleted or restricted, or to object to certain uses.

To exercise a data protection right or ask a privacy question, email suzanne@radlettpilates.co.uk. You also have the right to raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how your personal information has been handled.

Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated if the website or the way personal information is handled changes.
